Have Dan Holmes perform in your home! As some of you know, Dan Holmes gives in-home concerts. Depending on your home, Dan will either perform a solo show or a duo show. House concerts create a wonderful opportunity for music fans to experience artists in a way they never dreamed of. For less than you'd pay for a movie, you and your friends can organize personal concerts you'll remember for a lifetime.
F.A.Q. A: Usually, a house concert works best for groups between 15 to 50 people. To maintain a show atmosphere, Dan tries to perform to no fewer than 15 people. A: Dan is always booked a couple of months in advance. But what time of day is up to you! A Sunday brunch show? A Thursday evening get together? A Saturday night performance? Please see his schedule to check a date, but also send him an email. Sometimes, other shows will have a start time which allows him to perform multiple shows per day. A: Nothing is more personal than a house concert. There are no distractions from the performance. Plus, there will be a break to mingle and ask any questions about songwriting and/or performing. This is something which very rarely happens in a club setting. A: All that's needed is your living room, some folding chairs, some snacks and a few dozen of your friends kicking in a donation. Dan will bring a minimal keyboard/mic setup, unless you have a piano he may use. A: Donations of $10-20 per guest go directly to Dan Holmes. This usually works best if you use an R.S.V.P. That way, if within a couple of weeks out, it doesn't look like many people are able to show for a concert, there would be time to reschedule. A: Only your time, and maybe some food. This is an easy way to entertain friends, support live music, and do something different and fun. No smokey bars, no loud resturants, no large concert halls miles away from the artist. This is the most personal and intimate show you will be able to see for opening your home to Dan Holmes.
